Artist Bio:

Brian Palmer (1969) is a self taught artist that hails from the Blue Mountains of Virginia.

An artist that mingles in mixed media but mostly paints in reverse glass or “reverse acrylic”.

A painting style that dates back centuries but was mostly abandoned due to the difficulty of painting backwards with the inability to make changes as the art progresses.  When painting in abstract form mistakes are less important and often add to the character of the art.

The glass(acrylic sheet) intensifies the depth as well as the colors, an effect not obtainable on a traditional canvas painting.

Brian is an airline pilot by trade and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He currently resides in Plano, Texas.
